Teaching Philosophy I like to teach students how to master the technique of playing the bassoon within the framework of musicality. I also emphasize the importance of playing in ensembles by engaging my students in concerts of double reed and bassoon music and by encouraging them to participate in their school band/orchestra and community organizations.
